[Video] Lost and Unfound - backdated to July 30th

[Terra's face appears on the iMog slate, extremely close up at first and then pulling back to a reasonable distance. Even from there, it's obvious that he hasn't slept well. His hair is disheveled (inasmuch as that's possible to discern from his regular hairstyle), and there are bags under his eyes.]

Hi. I know it's a long shot, but has anyone seen Aqua recently? She's a girl about my age, with short blue hair and blue eyes. She might be dressed kind of like me, or else as a Red Mage. She was talking about moving to Yun'Ashia, so she might be near there, but all her stuff is still here. I - I went into the Dream Width looking for her, in case she got lost, but I couldn't find her.

If you know anything, please, let me know. She's - my best friend.

Help! Missing Person!! - Public Video Post

[The video opens with a sniffle and a dark screen. There's a shuffle, a muffled encouragement, and then Gladio comes into view.]

Hey. I'm Gladiolus Amicitia and my little sister disappeared yesterday. I looked all around our home here and got nothing, so I'm expanding the search. I'll attach her picture to this video somehow.

[More sniffles and Gladio leans forward to bring Noodle - his Moogle - into his arms as he leans the iMog on something. Dirt and scrapes are visible on his skin and the bags under his eyes are dark. His hair is an absolute mess and he looks half-dead. Not getting enough sleep due to panic will do that to a person.

If you've seen her, or if you have any information at all, message me. Please. Iris is ... she's my baby sister.

[He manages to cut the video before he completely chokes up.]

Simple Questions About Life

Today I realized that it would be my fourteenth birthday back home, so odds are good that as long as this isn't a strange dream I've been having for over a month it is here too. My moogle companion wouldn't answer, or more, Gai insisted it would be better to ask here so I have two simple questions.

Firstly, does that even matter on this world? I've been so wrapped up in just trying to figure out the base things, social niceties haven't really been a consideration.

Secondly, does anyone know how to make a Mars Bowl? Akito-san made me one last year, it was my favorite dish on the Nadesico. It is fried rice with little aliens made out of hot dogs that kind of look like octopi.

Anyways, that is really all. If you know anything, or have anything from home that may be appropriate, I would like to hear it. Thank you.

The Disappearance of Azusa Miura: Network Post [Voice] (Fwd Dated to the 7th)

[The morning of July 7th, everyone’s slates receive an audio message. At first, there’s only static and the sound of someone tapping the screen as if they’re trying to turn on video but are unable to. There’s a gentle sigh of frustration followed by a gasp as the owner realizes it’s on.]

Ah...! Hello? Hello? This is Azusa...that’s to say, I’m Azusa, um...I don’t know how long I have, ever since I dropped this in the water on the way over.

[The voice is a little hard to hear, but that should explain it: water damage.]

I haven’t seen anyone in a long time...I was trying to reunite a lost child with her mother, but we ended up finding her on an airship...and then her father was on a fishing boat...and I’m not sure where I am anymore. Goodness, what am I going to do?

[She taps the screen again, trying to turn on video, but there’s no luck here.]

I’m not far from the beach, but...it’s too late at night for me to be watching for ships. And...there’s really no one here, is there? What am I...

[And with one last, loud bust of static, the message ends.

Replies will come after she’s been rescued and her slate has been repaired.]

i have a lot of questions and not a lot of answers and i don't even know where to start looking for them in this place so here it is

who is narayana?

has anyone ever fought a crystal zombie before?

has anyone ever seen crystal pillars destroy the world before?

who on this world responds to "your majesty"?

has anyone figured out why we're here yet and who are the gods of this world?

what happens to people when they die in this world?

i saw some stuff in the dreamwidth and i want answers. i think people who were in crytallis might know since the crazy lady called us "heroes of light."

Digging Continues (Open, threadjacking encouraged once again!)

[ VIP week at Sparks Golsaucia's still going on, true, but it involves a lot of loud noise and people and Futaba ain't here for that without the rest of her friends. So instead she's been working on something else. Something even the people who didn't join in can hopefully appreciate. ]

So. Got a few things for you all and a few questions in return, especially for the newbies.

First of all, I've got some notes for you all. Some of you might remember the post I made a couple months back. Been doing research since then, so I figured I'd follow up with my findings. The more this info is widely spread the better. Also if you've got anything to add from searches on your own, feel free to talk about it here or lemme know and I can add it. We may even want to have like... some kinda meeting to discuss this stuff?

I'm not organizing it though.

[ Nope. Nope. Not a chance. Putting together notes and tossing them out to the wind? That she can do. Organizing a bunch of people and talking to them and all that kind of thing? Nope. ]

Unfortunately this place doesn't have the internet, so I can't just make a website for these notes. Pretty much all I can do is make my files available for download as of right now, so I'll have to post an updated version periodically. Sucks but there's nothing I can do yet.

On that note, one of the big questions last time was about a strange little girl with blond hair who called herself Ashelia. She only turned up right after the new arrivals, and only spoke to a few people before disappearing again. Anybody happen to see her this time around? Looking at newbies especially for this one.

Also a Moogle that shouted some kind of doomsday prophecies about a "she," I guess.

[ She'll ask more questions if anybody actually happens to volunteer information. No point typing a lot up front if it turns out she wasn't even here.

And... as for the last thing. And the thing she's especially glad she's using text for. ]

Also... back on Earth, a lot of countries around the world happen to celebrate Father's Day on the third Sunday of June (sixth month). Which is... this one, I guess?

[Tidus is out by the water on the Curti Center island, as he usually is. There's a sunglasses-wearing moogle, Zunne, sunning on the beach behind him. But for anyone who knows Tidus, it might seem more odd that his eyes, usually bright blue, are now red.]

Hey guys, me again. I hope everybody's doing okay after that trip---and if you've run into any chocobo eaters, rest up. They're really tough!

Anyway, I've just been thinking. Does something about this place seem off to anyone else? I don't really know how to explain it, I know it sounds crazy, but I can't help but wonder why we're really here. It's just...I see these little things everywhere that are familiar, but they aren't? And I have to wonder if something big's lurking out there that we should know about?

Maybe I'm just homesick. Or hungry, that could be it.

[Distantly, from the Moogle's direction: 'How astute.' Tidus mumbles and ducks his head.]

[ It'd kinda taken a backseat with everything else going on, but there's still something that's been bothering her a bit. She could just dismiss it as a kid making things up but... after everything she's experienced here, and back home, she's got a gut feeling there's more to it.

She can't search the internet like she used to but... well that doesn't mean crowdsourcing is off the table. ]

Hey, did anybody else run into a weird girl on their first day here? A little kid, blonde hair.

Also does anybody know what the name of this "linkshell" means? Kali Shashidhwaja. She mentioned that, along with telling me that "she" would try to hurt me if I ever lost it and was alone.

[ As a final note, she added the two pictures the girl had doodled, described as follows: " There was a crude drawing of a feminine figure with purple eyes standing over what appeared to be the corpses of a human and a moogle, looking a bit eerily similar to Futaba and her moogle even though the drawing was crude. " Along with "This time the figures looking like Futaba and her moogle were standing alive, and were surrounded by other figures. They faced toward the purple-eyed figure, who seemed to be fleeing."

By appearances alone, one can assume quite a bit about who or what she might have been in her homeworld. There is a bit of murmuring off camera by the likes of her Mog who appears to be guiding her with using the device. ]

—starting. Ah! Wonderful! And there we are. Now you are connected, my lady. Please, go right ahead.

[ Euphemia smiled off camera to the Moogle and mumbled a quiet thank you, then turned her attention back to the screen. ]

Hello everyone! I, ah ... I just wanted to introduce myself properly since I believe most of us are in a similar predicament. It's been a very ... a very strange day, [ and her expression twists a little because that word doesn't even seem right. It will do for now. ] but I like to hope that I can end it on a reasonably good note.

I hope everyone has settled in well or going to. I intend to do so myself. I wanted to thank everyone that I had the opportunity to meet today. Your company, whether brief or not, was welcomed and one I will hold dear. I hope we can meet again soon while we are here.

As for the rest, perhaps we might get acquainted using this, ah... this—what is it called again? [ She turns to look off camera to where her Moogle is apparently floating ]
